Yup! Amir is now in his standard One. How time flies...
I must be very lucky as he showed no tantrum on his first day, even though I always have a kinda fear that all mothers have...
But he did alright. On his first day, he managed to handle himself well. I left him alone while other parents were observing their children from the shutters and the doors of the classrooms.
Well my hubby and I split ourselves... One had to attend the briefing and one had to stand in a long queue at the bookshop.
I voted for the bookshop then...! Had to queue for about an hour.
As for me and hubby, this is our first time - preparing all Amir's stuff for his schooling. Perhaps like other parents on their first time, we were excited.
When I told my SIL that I felt my watery eyes seeing Amir on his first day of schooling, I thot she would laugh at me... but amazingly that was what she felt the fist time she sent her kids to school.
So the feeling was equal and nothing wrong with me then! hahahhaa..
As for Amir, I am sure this is a stage where he will explore things and surroundings..
As for both of us... the challenge is just in front of our eyes now..
For his atok and nenek... they have been missing this kiddo...
Both of them can only see Amir on weekends...
I know they have been missing all those cheeky and mischievous moments of Amir...
It clearly shows!
