Is this the value of love?

Not sure whether you guys read HMetro - about a couple who had divorced and 'rujuk' again (if I'm not mistaken before the eddah completes). Unintentionally, they didn't inform the relevant authority that they have 'rujuk' and live together happily (got kids from the marriage) until couple of years back the wife passed away. The hubby however didn't aware that the wife had used the divorce certificate to re-marry again with another man...

When the 1st hubby found out that the 2nd hubby is now inheriting his wife's properties, he went to seek for legal recourse - applies to the court to 'legalise' his re-marriage with the wife. According to the daughter, one of the reasons why the father did the application to the court was due to 'harta'. The 1st hubby admitted that he is willing to put aside the 'shame' in order to get his re-marriage declared as valid and thus extend him the privilege to inherit the property as well.

My 2 cents worth - I think to some extend 'love' is used merely as a 'vehicle' to allow people to get what they want. Love to certain extend has no 'value' and is 'preached' towards 'materialism'.
Perhaps the 1st husband (in this case) is sincere. Maybe he just wanted to clarify things ... he is the legal husband....

But what is the position of the 2nd husband... by right the wife (while she was legally married to the 1st husband) is prohibited to marry someone else.

I am totally confused.... Is there something wrong with our legal system?
(Then I got to know that, now if you are divorced, the Jabatan Agama will not issue any divorce letter within 3 months. Upon completing the eddah then only the letter will be issued and therefore giving the couple the opportunity (especially the woman) to remarry ... this time registered as legal and valid).

A point to ponder huh? (How did the wife did that? (marry another man while still in a valid marriage).... Where is the love ?
