Disaster

Just got back from Bangi Learning Centre. This morning A ....n smsed... we have to be at the disaster centre for the exercise. I believe some of you might have experienced this too. The call tree ... the BIA ... the CMT Mtg. Well in business ethics, this exercise is very vital as it ensures the business continuity of an organization. Gone to some trainings, seminars on this issues. The CMT Mtg was quite a lengthy one. So you can imagine attending a disaster declaration meeting without having a breakfast!!! we got an excuse then ... just because we had to leave for Penang for an event with Tan Sri Nor tomorrow. Anyways, those who have not attended any of this exercise should try at least once. even tho' its not a real disaster( I bet if its real ... the alternate site would be chaotic hehehe) it's good to experience, be there ... especially with the IT personels... they work around the clock to ensure the system is up and running by a certain hour/time, attending the CMT Mtg at wee hours... just to have an idea what bcp is all about. O yes there's another one .. ERT.. we had this fire drill exercise last year. It was to be a surprise but turned out otherwise. Some of the staff knew before hand... Just imagine.. you have to climb down the stairs from 19th floor... longgar lutut....

'Bidan Terjun' .... CAT was the official online media for this event (Malaysia Dive Expo). Had to sit in the PC replacing the Boss. I swear I wont do this again... without preparation. '





In Chiangmai for APICTA Award presentation. We presented our system (p2g) to judges from Brunei, Thailand, Philipines and S'poe. Boss said it was not the winning or losing part that matters to him.. it was the experience that he offered us from the trip. Ya... somehow it was true..







London ... WTM... Had the opportunity to watch the musical theatre. Footloose and We will rock you. I enjoyed Footloose maybe becoz I knew all the songs ..







31 Jan 2007. My last day with CAT. Kira tak pernah dibuat orang ... quit 2 kali and then masuk balik... hehehe. But this was the final farewell for me. Frankly I've learnt a lot during my tenure here. Even though it was full of stress, pressure, all the last minutes tender and presentation slides, it was the most memorable one. I left the company due to the fact that I knew that I could not give more as expected. I think I had tried my best to balance between family and work. But in the end I was too tired... So long farewell... I wish everyone in CAT all the best...

If I could turn back the clock

How I wish if I could turn back the clock and jadi bebudak balik... Macam-macam boleh buat.
Ni gambar Amir ngan Mohamad kat Melaka. Diorang ni kalau jumpa siap berpeluk-peluk. 2 minutes after that someone will push the other one. Someone will cry. And unfortunately most of the time Amir yang nangis. Maybe he is a bit manja... Biasala tu. Dulu masa Amir kecik, I used to tell my husband rasa macam tak sabar nak tunggu Amir pandai jalan. Once dia dah dapat kaki, fullamak... letih ya amat nak mengejar dia berlari. But watching him sekarang ni rasa macam cepat sangat dia membesar. Sekarang ni pulak kalau berjalan, tak nak langsung pegang tangan. When we were at Cherating, he refused to hold my hands and ran towards the main road. Nasib baik takder kereta... But that's Amir.... Apa2 pun I enjoyed every moments of him.. walaupun ada kalanya some of that moment buat I derita... kah kah kah....

Ultraman

Ni gambar masa Amir's 3rd Birthday. Since he is one of the fans of Ultraman, I bought him an Ultraman .. almost the same height with him.. Actually tak plan pun nak beli Ultraman ni for Amir. Tapi bila nampak kat Speedy macam cun plak nak bagi kat Amir.
But I've never thought ppl at the office will laugh at me when they saw me with this Ultraman. Takpe la Mir... anything for you... As usual, Amir was excited when he first met with his friend Ultraman. Tapi tak lama... after 2 weeks Ultraman tu tergolek dok sorang-sorang kat bilik atas. Last week kepala Ultraman dan tercabut.. Hahaha... betul2 cartoon. Kat sebelah tu gambar Amir ngan Abah yang control macho!

Letih .....

This week, we have a couple of things to settle and manage simultaneously. Since one of my colleagues pergi training, so I can say that I'm a bit busy getting things done. Just finished drafting speeches for this weekend event. Ha..ha.. Amir is besides me ni.. maybe wondering naper I dok ngadap lapotop. Today someone at the office has just started her diet and of coz' she will be one of the frequent followers of the aerobic classes. I respect her strong will!! and really hope that she is as strong as her will... :)

Coming back to my colleague yang pergi training ... training on penggunaan bahasa.. I wonder habis training ni nanti macamana la bahasa komunikasi atau penulisan yang I will expect from him. Hmmhhh.. hopefully dia tak buat mistakes like 'dimakan' jadi 'di makan', 'di sana' jadi 'disana'...

... And finally today we managed to get 20 pax for our trip to Bandung this coming July. Can't wait to fly to Bandung. Looking at the list of the names, most of them are 'kakak-kakak' and to some people 'makcik-makcik'. Well tak kisah la kakak ke, makcik ke and not forgettin' ada 2 orang jejaka Malaya yang tersesat for this trip. Just wait and see la how these 2 abangs mix and mingle around with us. Don't worry, we won't bite!

Never too late...

I've always wanted to blog. But time never permits... and never will. Guess I have to start somewhere... somehow..

Why Hagemaru? Hmmhhh. frankly I dont even know who or what Hagemaru is until my 3 year hero, one of the die hard fans of Astro Ceria keeps on talking on this character Hagemaru ... not to mention Ultraman Gaia, Ultraman Tiga, Postman Pat, Thomas & Friends ... I believe almost all of you share the same experience :). This is Amir my only hero... His favourite song ... "Apa yang penting? Kerjasama... " from Wonder Pets!
