Painting, public speaking, the First Lady, eating sessions ... bla bla bla

Maybe age really is catching up with me.. Lately I feel so tired easily. Perhaps last week's schedule was a bit hectic. Nevertheless, the aerobics session was really good. It was then followed with all those preparation in getting the orphanages' paintings exhibited during the ESQ Event with Yayasan Harapan Kanak2 Malaysia. One thing about this ESQ event was that we had the First Lady i.e YAB Datin Paduka Sri Dr Rosmah Mansor to pen down her signature on the 'plaque' that we had at the exhibition area.

Simultaneously during ESQ Event, there was a public speaking competition - the PM's trophy. The participants were really good. I noticed that the Malay students' presentations were a bit 'over' ... perhaps the way they present their ideas... (Kama said 'terlampau banyak berlagu')...

I enjoyed one Indian boy (who was then announced as the winner - for non malay category). The second topic that braught him on stage was a bit 'touchy' to me. It was about 'The day that I like most. And for him the day that he likes most is Mother's Day. I believe his mum (who was sitting at the back) was damn proud with his son... :)

Overall the event was a memorable one! We had the opportunity to 'snatched' the First Lady from the public while she was heading towards the lift with her entourage and the photographers... and Jijie managed to get her to sign the plaque. The most happiest person would be Kama I guess as he was the closest (in the pix taken by En Raman) to the First Lady. A handful thanks to En Nazri the CEO of Yayasan who played the role to get the First Lady ushered to our exhibition area. Not forgotten to Ramona aka Romano (cenc called her by this name you know...)who has helped us to get the marker ribbonned.... :)

All in all, I enjoyed the eating session at the cafetaria the most... the food was good and the PRICE is CHEAP.... On that Friday, it costs me only RM8.00 for nasi+lala+kerang+sayur taugeh+air jagung (mine) and teh O (Kama) and nasi+ikankeli+sayur+teh O limau (En Raman)... Kalau kat KL ... ? Don't dream la kata omputeh ... jangan mimpi la ... kata orang melayu...
