JaPAn

I saw this entry in my draft folder. Wow this has been long outstanding...
Yes.. i had a great time. Finally i made my presence in Japan...
And roping yin in the trip was a good move though. Hahaha. We saved a lot! Frankly i was a bit worried.. to spend my first time holiday in japan with students. Bhahahaha... well after knowing them... they were just like me when i was at their age.

We flew with asia x.  It took us 8 hours to land chung bu airport nagoya. Once landed i craved for coffee and as usual starved for food heheheh. We waited for syana .. a friend of yin. And yes tht sweet gal conversed fluently in japanese  and flawless! M impressed.

Our first meal was awesome...i had bento set in the land of its origin. Thumbs up for the good food. Unlike in msia, here in japan we had to sit on  floor to eat. Our luggage were placed in a locker.
Syana then asked us what was our plan. I overuled the 2 girls..hahaha.. i said we planned to go tokyo. Before that i did ask syana why the stations looked so serene and not as havoc as i imagined...  and i couldnt see all the disciplined japanese executives with suits on the ride. Syana said i could see and feel that hustle and bustle in tokyo. So tokyo..here we come.

We dropped by at kyoto station before leaving for shiga; syana's crib. Even the station had gardens ...
Met 3 lovely women. I guess they are  close friends and spending time together... lovely women!
Syana bought for us the tickets to tokyo. She advised us to take a rest first as our bus will start traveling at 11 pm. And another friend of them will wait. Frankly i am impressed with these girls. Its either they likeee yin so much or they are just so kind hearted. Hahahah.

On the way to shiga we visited syana's uni. Something happened here..when someone had incidentally pressed an orange button in the toilet. The alarm whistled and a crowd of policeman with bicycles went to the toilet for help. hahahah... yin yin... Lesson learnt dont press any button...

We smelt the fresh cool air of tokyo at 6.00 am. Even though it was spring but the weather was so cold.  Reminiscing London in 2003.. .. Tapi nak tunjuk cool ngan d girls.. had to hide the feeling of couldnt stand the cold by acting cool!. Hahahaha.

Here in Tokyo we got to know Nani. Hail from Melaka this girl cooked awesome sambal tumis udang. I could even still feel the taste now ..while writing this.  After a rest.. and making sure that the rest was short n sweet..we started roaming and wandering in tokyo.
Asakusa.. a place that i can associate with petaling street was our first destination. So many things you can find here..except your dad n your mum. According to nani asakusa is a place where delicacies and small souvenirs are easily found. Not bad of a pricing ... i recommend this place as one of the.must.visit places.  Name it... key chains.. tshirts...fridge magnets.. bags.. delicacies.. porcelain pots etc..u got it! A temple  forgotten d name.. was another attraction. Err i visited a temple here.. not sire if there is more than 1..

our next trip was nagoya... where we met yin's friends... these peeps were going to enjoy the longest ride of rollercoster at the theme park. i didnt take any of the ride. takut kang pengsan plak.. tetiba heart attack. hhehhe. the boys and girls had fun. We had dinner together before we left nagoya, time ran si fast ... we need to fetch a train to shiga.

In tokyo byk jugak places that we visited.
Our last pit stop was visiting temples kat kyoto...

let me share some photos ...
they speak on their own.

I enjoyed japan very much...
even tho its quite expensive traveling here.. but the country, people, environment have opened my eyes... to certain extent...

Most of the pics in japan are in my phone.
But let these photos be the sneak preview..
Thank you girl an boys who have made my presence in japan a worthwhile moments...
